Common Ground Wisconsin
This is just something I thought many people on this site might like to know about:
Common Ground WI is a cross-organizational network of all kinds of agencies, churches, small businesses, civil servant groups, etc that is newly formed in Milwaukee. The goal is to bring people together to work on common needs like jobs, housing, education, crime, etc. Similar efforts in many major cities nationally have produced really awesome results. It's just getting started, but it seems like a great idea to me. It was formally founded a couple months ago but a couple hundred or so founding organizations/individuals. http://www.commongroundwi.org/
