Peace walk scheduled for tonight
Members of the community are invited to join students involved in an organized Peace Walk on the city's north side tonight.
The Next Door Foundation's Leaders of Tomorrow program will team up with Greater New Birth Church's youth group to encourage a peaceful summer in the city.
The walk will begin at 5 p.m. at the Next Door Foundation, 2545 N. 29th St., and will end at Greater New Birth Church, 2207 W. Center St.
The students will be carrying signs asking for peace.
